She is an Associate professor and Head of the Department, is a highly efficient and talented psychiatrist providing compassionate and evidence based care to patients. She efficiently manages patients with Psychotic disorders, mood disorders with other psychiatric ailments.

She completed her MBBS from Kilpauk medical College, Chennai, and finished her master degree in psychiatry from the Adras Medical College, Chennai. She is a professional member of Indian Psychiatric society and is very much interested in academics and research.

She has extensive experience in the field of psychiatry for over 19 years, and has worked as Assistant Professor in Madras Medical College, and Associate professor and HOD in Tiruvannamalai Medical College. Her areas of special interest is in Women’s mental health.
